But Creature Commandos is a return to quality animation
Speaking of animation, the new “Tomorrow Verse” animation looked very cheap and flat, with no life in either the animation style or the storylines. DC AU’s remarkable stories like Red Hood, Justice League: Darkness, and Superman: Judgment Day have set the standard for the quality of comic book animation. I collected all the cartoons of that time and “Tomorrow-verse” did not interest me because of lazy writing and lazy animation. The characters are important to me, and the story is interesting.
The art style is cheerful, bright and well drawn
James Gunn is starting this universe off right and making his upcoming projects highly anticipated. The new Superman movie is definitely on my must-see list. Back to the series, it only has 2 episodes, but the anticipation and connection between the characters is there… Looking for something unusual to add to your watch list?
