Reed with Hugh as their top choice for the role

Two young religious women are drawn into a game of cat and mouse in a strange man’s house.. Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East in Heretic, plus more modern women killing the horror game.. Hugh Grant once said in an interview "I’m tired of playing obvious roles and being typecast" – writer/directors Scott Beck and Brian Woods saw this interview and wrote the role of Mr. Mr. Reed is stabbed in the neck with a letter opener, which he then pulls out.

but later in the basement there is little evidence of it when he is near the hatch.. Mr. Reed: I promise you, the last thing I wanted to do was find the one true religion – but unfortunately I did.. This is a very religious horror film
He’s very unnerving in this role, and that alone is worth the price of admission to see. I hope this isn’t a one-and-done for him because we need him in more horror movies, he’s a natural. Sophie Thatcher (Nurse Barnes) and Chloe East (Nurse Paxton) also give top-notch performances. It’s a dialogue-heavy film that I personally enjoyed, but some people may not. It doesn’t rely on cheap jump scares, because just Hugh talking in this film can give you the creeps.

It could have been better towards the end, but this is still a solid entry in the genre.
