Many of the negative critics claim to have firsthand experience with the subject matter. While Lioness may contain enough technical errors to prevent it from qualifying as a special operations documentary, there are plenty of other details that are corrected – some of them surprisingly – so that it stands out from most of the programming one would compare it to.

For example, I myself switched to Lioness after I started watching Heart of Stone. I usually like Gal Gadot, but I wanted to see something with a little more red meat.
