Remake of El Agente Topo (2020)
Charles, a retiree, gets a new chance at life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary “El Agente Topo”.
These actors get better with age and are wonderfully cast in this sweet comedy series!
I’m 67 and it was great to see so many actors of our generation and their great comedic styles. The script gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and delves more into the character plot.
It’s really not a mystery at all
That’s okay because about halfway through you have a pretty good idea who the culprit is. You don’t mind that it’s not a real mystery because you’re just having fun watching these golden old guys work and show their stuff.

Just a tribute to how brave you have to be as senior citizens while still being active and feeling seen in our youth-oriented society. What a sweet tribute to those who support us and help us navigate the minefields of aging this series was.
