It’s great to see a classic novel with such a lavish production and it all plays out really well as far as I’m concerned. The locations look great, the action sequences have been exciting so far, and the performances have been convincing. Like other reviewers, I don’t buy Lashan Lynch as an MI:6 operative and feel she was misplaced in the role.
Otherwise, great old school cloak and dagger fun
On the other hand, it’s always good to see Charles Day flex his acting muscles. Ursula Corberó is a delight to watch on screen, although I fear she is a bit underused.
